Mr. Wilks and the birth of Camp Wannado; I’ve known Mr. Wilks for three consecutive years. From the school my son was currently attending. He is magnificent in learning all parents as we came in and picked up our kids each day. He was very attentive and knew not only each parent and kid, but was very knowledgeable of what was taking place around the campus. When I heard of him leaving the campus I was disappointed, but only to learn he would be birthing Camp Wannado! My kid first day at Camp Wannado was fantastic! He did not want to leave, and wanted to be present every Saturday. Not only does Camp Wannado accommodate aftercare, but he also holds summer, winter, and spring camp, teacher work days, holidays, and weekends. My son absolutely adores the atmosphere! I am proud of the Mr. Wilks for stepping out and taking a chance on entrepreneurship and investing in our youths! Camp Wannado not only allows your kid to have fun, but also assist them with homework; I highly recommend this place to parents with school aged kids.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Wilks for the last 3 years through aftercare and summer camp. He has been a great influence on my son Aidan. My son loves going to Camp Wannado and loves the entire staff there. We love the field trips that they offer and my son always has fun.

Camp Wannado is a wonderful atmosphere for young children to attend! The Director Mr. Wilks and his staff treat all the children as their own with love, care, and parenting concerns . The atmosphere is inviting, grounded, safe, and very loving. Although Camp Wannado is a place of business and they provide a service of need; they perfect being a home away from home. The care and the attention given makes my children feel comfortable and accountable for their proper behavior and responsibilities of work needed to be completed. Camp Wannado has a great balance between work and play; mannerisms; and a range of activities to keep all children of all ages interacting with one another. Every week my children are excited to return to Camp Wannado! They do a phenomenal job! They help keep my family balanced and still bestow the necessary skills to help my children become successful even at their very young age!

I have known Mr Wilks for close to three years. I met him when he was running the aftercare at Reinassance Charter in Plantation and I highly recommend him as a very professional individual. My daughter has ADHD and is slightly austic and unlike other facilities and aftercare who believe in treating children with disabilities like liabilities and are always punishing children because they don’t understand their behaviors not to mention the staff is not trained, Camp Wannado has always treated my child with respect. Mr Wilks has always encouraged Chantel to be successful and when she does wrong, they counsel and always always follows up with me.
